{"id":1551,"date":"2011-07-07T21:00:17","date_gmt":"2011-07-08T02:00:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mofoxtrot.com\/viewpoint\/?p=1551"},"modified":"2017-09-12T00:18:41","modified_gmt":"2017-09-12T05:18:41","slug":"complaining-about-humidity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mofoxtrot.com\/viewpoint\/complaining-about-humidity\/","title":{"rendered":"Complaining about Humidity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>During the winter, especially last winter, it was horrid cold.\u00a0 We suffered terribly.\u00a0 Everyone and I mean everyone in Missouri vowed never to complain about the Missouri heat.\u00a0 I vowed to never complain about the heat.\u00a0 You felt the cold horrid damp wet air go clear thru to your bones in winter Missouri.\u00a0 I was snowed in for a total of 2 days and then the next time three days.\u00a0 Snowed in and I live an inch from the city line.\u00a0 The snow plows finally made it to my property line, but that didn&#8217;t mean I could make it out of the long driveway to the plowed road.\u00a0 My truck was hitched up to the trailer and the tractor broke down.\u00a0 Nothing to make the snow get out of the way of the car.<\/p>\n<p>Now it&#8217;s July in Missouri and it is horrid hot.\u00a0 I&#8217;m not complaining about the heat, because I took that vow.\u00a0 I&#8217;m complaining about the humidity!\u00a0 This humidity makes my body wilt and whine. There&#8217;s so much humidity in the air that it makes me feel about 50 lbs heavier.\u00a0 I hate this weather humidity!<\/p>\n<p>We had a clinic last Saturday and there was no breeze, bright sunshine and humidity that was sweltering.\u00a0 I sweltered.\u00a0 My horse sweltered.\u00a0 I was so hot, I thought surely my body can&#8217;t take this.\u00a0 Well, surprisingly my body did take it, but it was mad!<\/p>\n<p>We spent the morning from 9:00 to about noon outside in glaring sun.\u00a0 In the afternoon we were in an arena filled with fans.\u00a0 I thought just being out of the sun would help, but it didn&#8217;t.\u00a0 It was sweltering.\u00a0 Amazingly, I went outside and rode in the arena again.\u00a0 It was a different arena, close to the road.\u00a0 I thought maybe when the cars went by, they would send some breeze into the arena.\u00a0 There is one shade tree next to the arena.
