Not long ago, I wandered into a most fun and cheerful kitchen wares place. \u00a0I didn’t die and I didn’t get sick. \u00a0This is such a cheerful place, that I actually enjoyed it. \u00a0I discovered Fiesta Ware. \u00a0Good Gad. \u00a0Too bad I’m old now. \u00a0If I had discovered Fiesta Ware back when I was trying to cook and eat at home, I would be Fiesta Ware rich now.<\/p>\n
Today I revisited the kitchen place. \u00a0A young man was telling his parent family about his wife’s collection of Fiesta Ware. I imagined the family was his mother, his aunt and his father. \u00a0 He pointed to some plates and said, “This is what she uses.” \u00a0One woman said, “Why don’t we just get her a couple of pieces. \u00a0What color does she have?” \u00a0The young man explained, “She has all the colors.” \u00a0There was silence from the family. \u00a0“All the colors?” \u00a0They gazed at the huge collection of “all the colors.” \u00a0I could hear them thinking, “She has all this! \u00a0My goodness! \u00a0The family was overcome. \u00a0One of the women asked, “Does she have enough plates of the same color to serve the family? \u00a0I wondered that too. \u00a0Clearly, our minds were on the matching road.es<\/p>\n
The young man explained again, “Every person gets a different color at the table. \u00a0When Fiesta Ware comes out with a new color, she buys all the plates and dinner ware in the new color. \u00a0She doesn’t buy everything all at once. \u00a0It takes her a while to buy every piece in the new color.” \u00a0Me and the parents were overcome again by the thought.<\/p>\n
Fiesta Ware…we should have bought stock in Fiesta Ware instead of Fiesta Ware dinner plates.\u00a0I thought about buying a cereal bowl. \u00a0i’ve been wanting a new cereal bowl. \u00a0I found a one quart bowl for only $8.00. \u00a0I decided to pass on getting my own piece of Fiesta Ware.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
