Pink was the favorite color of the Grandmother of the Groom. She loved pink. The Daughter of the Grandmother of the Groom never ever liked pink. Never. Never Ever. Pink Frilly-girly is not a color that a certain red-haired cowgirl of the 50\u2019s, 60\u2019s, 90\u2019s nor 2000\u2019s like.<\/p>\n

Here is the grandmother of the groom\u2019s wedding ring gift to his fianc\u00e9. The ring has assumed a new life of happiness. The ring<\/a> was never tested to see if it would fit the happy and surprised fianc\u00e9. The ring fit! And more ring!<\/a><\/p>\n

Wedding date set and MOG (Mother of the Groom) wandered into a clothing store to find her wedding outfit. Wedding is outdoors in a park, so the dress is casual dressy. MOG ended up buying pink and cream wedding clothes. What!? How did that happen?<\/p>\n

In the ensuing weeks. MOG attended a casual dressy event with best friend Hope. I hate to publish this picturfor the world to see. \"\"<\/a>
\nJust look at Hope\u2019s pink classy infinity scarf. I did let Hope wear her scarf at the event, but it is now part of the MOG wedding attire. It did not go home with Hope. Pinkie went home with me. Pinkie is eargerly awaiting the wedding!<\/p>\n

It is sunny and hot in California at the wedding location. Now is the time to find big brimmed wedding hat to go with the pink theme. I toured Walmart, The Dollar Store and several thrift stores. I did find small brimmed pink hats, but my dream hat was yet to be found. A plea to horse friends resulted in the ultimate of pink big-brimmed Derby hat!<\/p>\n

Pink. Why Pink? I didn\u2019t feel pressured to buy pink, it was perfect fabric and fit. Normally, I would have hated it. Pink. Suddenly, I like the color pink.
\nRing, the ring fit. The ring fit the bride to be. How did that happen so perfectly?<\/p>\n

The Grandmother of the Groom, located in heaven, is ivery nvolved in this wedding. That is the only explanation.<\/p>\n

SHOPPING WITH MOG
\nMOG shopping today for pink. I visited 3 thrift stores and a new shoes store today. Evidentially, once you go pink, you need pink stuff.
\nIn the unstylish thrift store, scored a pink casual Beatles hat to wear during non-wedding ceremony times.<\/p>\n

I was in the young people thrift store with pink neon plastic sandals to try on. I\u2019m certain everyone thought I was 25. I was wearing my 25 year old T shirt, my baggy old jeans and my black muddy\/manure usher shoes. Of course no one at that store recognizes manure. Can you imagine the spectacle? Sandals hurt my toes, so they were rejected.<\/p>\n

My toes have not been exposed to the public eye since moving to the country in mid 90\u2019s. Even if the sandals would have been comfy, I just couldn\u2019t do it. Naked toes. Shudder<\/p>\n

The clothes are for young people style, but they have purses and shoes that fit an older person\u2019s eclectic taste.<\/p>\n

I ended up having to buy new shoes. Gasp. They were not real shoes and they do have shiny pink parts.<\/p>\n

Scored a pink bag at fashionable thrift store.<\/p>\n

Sent Pinkie and Pink-MOG Hat via UPS TO Hollywood. Amber, your hat is in-route to Hollywood! Hope, Pinkie is going to Hollywood! They both have The Golden Ticket!<\/p>\n
