It was twenty six degrees today. \u00a0Yesterday was a sunny nearly fifty degree day. \u00a0I had four layers on top and two layers on the legs. \u00a0I had my Muckboots on to keep my toes warm. \u00a0I was very warm as first bridle less fear kept my internal heat engine fired up. \u00a0I was worried about the stopping part. \u00a0When Fancy gets going, she likes to go. \u00a0She goes and loves to speed up. \u00a0She hasn’t been rode much with the neck rope, maybe less than five times. \u00a0The stick can drive her head into the wall, maybe, if she decides to rev up her engine. \u00a0Pray. \u00a0We walked around the arena for about 15 minutes, getting the idea that directions and stopping matter. \u00a0Finally it was time to speed up. \u00a0We made it the length of the arena and stopped. \u00a0We did that several times. \u00a0I was getting more and more comfortable. \u00a0I was able to let go of the neck rope and ask for speed. \u00a0Holy Moly, we zipped a lap around the arena at a fox trot. \u00a0After much praising and rubbing, we did it again. \u00a0Chas and Bravo were riding. \u00a0Erin was riding too. \u00a0I did not run into them. \u00a0They witness the first bridle less ride!<\/p>\n
