A month of back pain, back bones out of place is over. Fancy is “back” on track of my dream goal!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Surely no one can ever forget my passion to do flying lead changes to pass the requirements of the Parelli Level 4 Tests! Fancy has given me conditions and I have failed all spring and summer to meet her requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She has been secretly teaching me another requirement and I recently became aware of the last condition. Fancy has been trying to do a flying change before I asked. Her head is turned in the opposite direction of the way I want to do the flying change. When I turn her head and my body asks for the flying change, there is nothing there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fancy has been trying to tell me that her head needs to continue on the original path plus I must obey all the other conditions. Tonight, I did that and Fancy gave me several flying lead changes in both directions. Fancy was treated like royalty tonight. I dismounted after getting three flying changes, loosened the saddle and petted her every five to ten steps back to the barn. She got around twenty treats and much more adoration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I didn’t think she was over her back pain yet and needed more canter practice to get the legs going correctly. Well, she proved me wrong. She was trying to do a flying change, so I said, “What the heck!” Let’s give it a try.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
