\u00a0In a soap opera story, Sage is now leased to a very nice woman at Pine Dell.\u00a0\u00a0Sage’s new mom\u00a0has two twin 16 year old daughters with horses at Pine Dell.\u00a0 They work very hard for their horse’s cost.\u00a0 They clean stalls, feed, water and now they have been promoted to riding instructors under supervision.\u00a0 They take Monday night group lessons from Jenny and I ride in that lesson too. They are the best!\u00a0 Mom has faithfully come to all their lessons.\u00a0 She works at Pine Dell in the summer to help pay for her daughter’s horses.\u00a0 She is a school teacher.\u00a0 She talks about her dream for her to have a horse someday, but the money isn’t there for her.<\/span><\/div>\n

I was at Pine Dell one day\u00a0and there was mom watching her daughters’ ride.\u00a0 I said to her…Sage, zero dollar lease, pay to have her boarded here…your horse.\u00a0 Her mouth gaped open.\u00a0 I said, “Think about it, and went on my way.”<\/div>\n
Her daughters talked to me about this at the Monday night group lesson.\u00a0 I said essentially that Sage could be their mom’s horse if she paid for her pasture boarding cost at Pine Dell.<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
Sage needs a job.\u00a0 If I keep her at home, I’ll breed her and add another expenditure to the herd!<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
Daughters talked to Mom.\u00a0 She was thrilled.\u00a0 I took Sage to Pine Dell last Sunday and rode her.\u00a0 Mom came.\u00a0 I rode Sage for her.\u00a0 We went to the round pen and Mom rode.\u00a0 Mom is a true beginner.\u00a0 She’s been watching the lessons, but her body hasn’t been trained.\u00a0 Sage and her matched!\u00a0 Sage would hardly go faster than a walk and Mom was really happy with that.<\/div>\n

She rode up to the barn where her daughters were feeding and they were stunned!\u00a0 Their mom was on Sage wearing a huge grin on her face.<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
When she got off, she was estatic.\u00a0 She cried with happiness.\u00a0 I cried with happiness.\u00a0 She told me that she has wanted a horse since she was old enough to think.\u00a0 It just never worked out.\u00a0 Thank you Thank You\u00a0 Thank You!\u00a0 Sage will be loved and ridden by mom.\u00a0 Sage will be loved and ridden by the girls.\u00a0 Sage will be the center of attention in her new family, but I will always own her.<\/div>\n

The daughters are going to give their mom lessons.\u00a0 The daughters have been charged with getting Sage into shape emotionally and physically for their mom.\u00a0 They are stunned that they are being forced to ride another horse.\u00a0 They will be able to use Sage when they give lessons.\u00a0 Mom and daughters will get to ride together.<\/div>\n
