I rode Fancy the next day. \u00a0It was a dream ride, the stuff of legend! \u00a0When We went out the gate, I could feel a slight hesitation, but she went on. \u00a0I decided to turn towards the neighbor\u2019s property. \u00a0They are planning to build a house next door. \u00a0I\u2019ve got a ten acre mowed field next door. \u00a0Fancy went through the dirt path into the field. \u00a0We rode east and west in the field of dreams. \u00a0We gaited. \u00a0I\u2019m in heaven.<\/p>\n
Next is the road. \u00a0We returned to the road and gaited at a flat foot walk away from home. \u00a0Oh joy. \u00a0It was hot out there. \u00a0Fancy was heated. \u00a0I could tell it was time to quit. \u00a0We walked home. \u00a0She was able to get her breathe. \u00a0She did not want to run home. \u00a0How I love this! \u00a0We returned to the trailer and rode a circle around it. \u00a0Best not to have her ever assume the trailer would be the stopping point.<\/p>\n
I dismounted to the trailer fender. \u00a0The saddle was removed, halter put on and a cold bath was given to combat the sweaty body. \u00a0I turned her out and fed the horses. \u00a0What a glorious day!<\/p>\n
