{"id":7911,"date":"2023-11-15T18:23:13","date_gmt":"2023-11-16T00:23:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mofoxtrot.com\/viewpoint\/?p=7911"},"modified":"2023-11-15T18:24:50","modified_gmt":"2023-11-16T00:24:50","slug":"afib-after-ablation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mofoxtrot.com\/viewpoint\/afib-after-ablation\/","title":{"rendered":"AFIB after Ablation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>March 2023, AFIB ablation operation done. \u00a0Overnight hospital stay and I ate full hospital food menu for two days. \u00a0 Sadly, narcotic medicine is tough on releasing food from gut. \u00a0I became painfully constipated.<\/p>\n<p>Days later, I was at a performance event and was suffering. \u00a0I left at ntermission to go home and took 5 times the amount of constipation medication recommended. \u00a0I wanted to get that food out of my body.<\/p>\n<p>Whoops! \u00a0I became a bathroom prisoner. \u00a0Next stage of hell was unsuccessful exits from bed. \u00a0It was so bad, I thought about ordering a new carpet for the house!<\/p>\n<p>Moving on\u2026. No AFIB. \u00a0Not moving on\u2026out of breath when riding. \u00a0Tiredness.<\/p>\n<p>Eventually the out-of-breath went away, but not the ever lasting fatigue. \u00a0I could barely handle feeding the horses at home. \u00a0Fatigue struck at my upper body and legs when walking back from barn.
