Sue – How Have Your Eyes Changed AGAIN<\/p>\n
We had Sue with the dull look in her eyes.\u00a0 That was when I first got her.\u00a0 This post is written in April 2008.\u00a0 I got Sue in April of 2006.<\/span><\/p>\n In 2007,\u00a0we had the transformation Sue with the bright eyes. That was darn amazing.\u00a0 Her eyes\u00a0changed from dull to bright and interested. I’ll have to look back in the blog to see what month that was. Her eyes changed to bright , but they were still wide open for things of which to be very scared.<\/span><\/p>\n This afternoon,\u00a0I noticed her eyes have changed again.<\/span><\/p>\n Sue’s eyes are liquid\u00a0melted gold. Her eyes are dark and deep.\u00a0 She’s relaxed.\u00a0 In the spirit of nature and the world created for us, I would like to utter these two words.\u00a0 “My God!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n I rode her today and what a difference.\u00a0 I didn’t feel like I was climbing on a little rocket.\u00a0 I used to feel that and then I could get her to relax. This time, I got on a calm relaxed horse. I wasn’t scared to adjust my body in the saddle.\u00a0 I adjusted\u00a0and sat on my balance point…no reaction.\u00a0 \u00a0We moseyed up to the front of the arena and chatted with friends.\u00a0 Sue stood there, the picture of calm and relaxed horse.<\/span><\/p>\n I rode her – impulsion bulls eye pattern.\u00a0 We have a circle outlined by barrels.\u00a0 We have to go around the circle with her listening to my seat and legs…no reins.\u00a0 She’s always had a hard time at this.\u00a0 Her right brain introvert takes over and she likes to veer off the circle on a straight line.\u00a0 She still has a tough time of listening to me, but we didn’t rocket anywhere.\u00a0 We finally got our circle\u00a0completed without me picking up the reins at a gait faster than a walk.\u00a0 I was looking not for a consistent exact gait.\u00a0 I was looking for a little bit of speed and keeping on the path.\u00a0 We got it both directions.<\/span><\/p>\n We went around the arena and sidepassed in and out at a flat foot walk.
