{"id":879,"date":"2008-01-13T23:42:12","date_gmt":"2008-01-14T05:42:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mofoxtrot.com\/viewpoint\/?p=879"},"modified":"2010-10-07T23:43:01","modified_gmt":"2010-10-08T04:43:01","slug":"sue-how-do-you-do-amazing-with-nichole-copple","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mofoxtrot.com\/viewpoint\/sue-how-do-you-do-amazing-with-nichole-copple\/","title":{"rendered":"Sue- How Do You Do Amazing with Nichole Copple!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sue &#8211; How Amazing You are with Nichole Copple!<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.angelfire.com\/mo2\/pinedell\/HOWDOYOUDO_SUE\/Sueandlittlefriend.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"428\" height=\"448\" align=\"left\" \/>\u00a0We had a group lesson 1\/11\/08 and I got to watch 12 year old Nichole ride Sue.\u00a0 In the recent blog, I mentioned how Sue had gone to the Ozarks to be rode by Nichole.\u00a0 Sue was getting very heavy and I knew that being with\u00a0Nichole would give Sue much more confidence and muscle to replace fat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: small;\">I knew Sue&#8217;s confidence would improve, but until you see it in person, you just don&#8217;t know.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;\">I did note (upon Sue\u2019s return) that her eyes were even brighter. Maybe it was her body posture\u2026brave instead of trying to be invisible.\u00a0 She started coming right up to me and demanding things\u2026like \u201cdo you have food for me\u201d.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;\">But to watch her being calm\u00a0in an arena with cantering careening horses all around\u2026and a carrot stick being used by another rider.\u00a0 My GOODNESS!\u00a0 This was her first time in an arena in many months.\u00a0 Remember Sue can be claustrophobic in an arena.\u00a0 She hates arenas unless she knows every horse.<\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;\">At one point all but one of us were resting down at the end of the arena.\u00a0 We had a big gelding being rode on the wall.\u00a0 He wasn\u2019t wanting to canter. Horse and rider were clattering around the arena\u2026fast.\u00a0 To get him to lift his front end and feet,\u00a0one, two and then three\u00a0PVC poles were laid out (about 3&#8242; apart)\u00a0right behind where we were standing.\u00a0 Three times he refused to lift his feet and exploded and tripped over each pole.\u00a0\u00a0 Crashing horse feet into PVC poles make an\u00a0\u00a0outstanding racket.\u00a0Sue and Nichole were standing about 5&#8242; away from the poles and Sue was facing away from the poles.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;\">Sue\u00a0didn\u2019t flinch\u00a0the gelding \u00a0zoomed behind her and came around the corner.\u00a0 She didn&#8217;t flinch when he\u00a0clattered over every pole\u2026.behind her.Three month earlier, Sue would have left the country if something like that happened! <\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;\">Now that was amazing\u2026miracle!<\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;\">At one other point while JR and Sue were resting together, Nichole swung her entire arm up and waved it around like she was going to rope something. Then she brought her arm down at a high rate of speed and pretended to spank Sue\u2019s behind with a pretend string.\u00a0 I tell you what, Sue would have been in the next country 3 months ago!\u00a0 <\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;\">Nichole was relaxed. Sue didn\u2019t flinch.\u00a0 Nichole kept doing it and I just had my mouth dropped open to the arena dirt.\u00a0 My mouth was still filled with arena dirt where it dropped to the ground after the clatter of the PVC poles&#8230;and the mouth filled up again.\u00a0 In astonishment.<\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;\"><br \/>\nI knew Nichole would be good for Sue.\u00a0 I just wasn&#8217;t prepared for the magnitude.<\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;\">At the end of the lesson, we were all standing around and I thanked Nichole\u2026I sniffled.\u00a0 I decided to send Sue home with Nichole again.\u00a0 She deserves this much happiness and the return of her real self..not having to be scared all the time.<\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;\">Sue is back in Fair Play with Nichole.\u00a0\u00a0My eyes\u00a0have a suspicious wetness to think about it even today.<\/span><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sue &#8211; How Amazing You are with Nichole Copple! \u00a0We had a group lesson 1\/11\/08 and I got to watch 12 year old Nichole ride Sue.\u00a0 In the recent blog, I mentioned how Sue had gone to the Ozarks to be rode by Nichole.\u00a0 Sue was getting very heavy and I knew that being with\u00a0Nichole would give Sue much more confidence and muscle to replace fat.
