Fancy, Fancy!

Fancy made one of my dreams come true yesterday.  She was eating grass across the dam.  I walked started walking to the barn to get something.  Fancy saw me and galloped to me.  Good Lord!  She left the herd and came to me!  So I fed her and brushed her while she was eating.  Plus, this was after an earlier group lesson where she had to exert a lot of effort for me.  Again, what the heck!

Today, I took her into my newly mowed round pen after saddling her up.  I took off her halter and got my horsemanship stick ready.   I had given her no sign yet to move.  She semi exploded and ran around, like she had not had any exercise for a year. What!  Plus, the temperature is In the low 80’s.  Again, What?

Soon, she became a ridable horse.  We rode in the round pen, left and rode a short distance in the tree lined part of the past, left the pasture and road to end of the driveway.  I figured this was a great time to quit and we rode back to the barn.
