The Ovary is Not Dead!

The Regu-mate is supposed to make those ovaries go dormant! That was my understanding. We learned from the animal communicator that the problem ovary was the left one. But I thought that problem past tense. Nope. Fancy's shoeing session is generally every 4-5 weeks. This time due to covid crisis, Tony didn't make it until eight weeks. Fancy's toes were long and her withers and rear ends were out of balance. Her body was balanced using pads under her shoes, plus other factors per the Jim Crew Posture Balance method.…

Mind Reading

http://www.lydiahiby.com Fancy and I had a session with Lydia Hiby on 7/21/2020. I met Lydia long ago at a Kansas City horse festival event sponsored by John Lyons. Lydia had a booth and grabbed my attention when I walked by I wondered, what the heck. I was in my early years of learning horsemanship on Sage. I don't remember much about that conversation except that I asked Lydia to apologize to Sage as she suffered from my beginner rider errors. Sage answered, "Don't think that. You have taken care of…

It is Hope’s Fault

Fancy:  Why are you riding me in the afternoon when it is so dang hot? Susan:  Hope wanted to ride Lucky with us this afternoon. Fancy:  This is Hope's fault?  The woman sitting on Lucky? Susan:  Yes.  It's Hope's fault Fancy:  Can I bite Hope? Susan:  No.  Lucky will protect her. Fancy:  It's too darn hot when you have to give me a bath before you ride me. Susan:  I'm sorry.  You were sweaty with a crust of sweat dirt.  We wouldn't want your saddle pad to get crusty sweat-grit dirty.  It's Hope's fault. Fancy:  Where is my bridle and bit?  How dare you ride me…

Oh Wow Fancy

Today was a great day with Fancy. I mostly rode with the controlling rein higher than the supporting rein. I kept my hands low and might have kept them contained in a small space rather than using my full arm extension to turn. (I'm starting to talk like Tom Dorrance in his book. Sorry.) Fancy's vet chiropractic appointment last Friday was the best ever! Gasp, we did flying lead changes during the lesson today. It's been a long long time since that happened for me. I watched Erin do many…

Human Body Fail Fall

It was about five weeks ago that the hay bale twine tripped me and made me fall hard on my left hip. All the muscles in my upper front, inner and outer and thigh were ripped. Riding was initially painful and slowly got better. I limped, putting weight on my right leg. Different thigh muscles made themselves known during this time. They all had a voice, a painful left leg voice at different times. A few days ago a pain spot started up on my knee...on the other side of…
