Today was a great day with Fancy. I mostly rode with the controlling rein higher than the supporting rein. I kept my hands low and might have kept them contained in a small space rather than using my full arm extension to turn. (I'm starting to talk like Tom Dorrance in his book. Sorry.) It was about five weeks ago that the hay bale twine tripped me and made me fall hard on my left hip. All the muscles in my upper front, inner and outer and thigh were ripped. Riding was initially painful and slowly got better. I limped, putting weight on my right leg. Different thigh muscles made themselves known during this time.
