Ahh, thank goodness for warm weather and daylight savings. My after work trail riding has started. The person I ride with, forever to be nameless, was quite entertaining on our first after work ride. Her horse got a big branch caught in his tail. When that happened last year, he panicked. I was riding clean up tonight and spotted the instant he got the branch in his tail. I disaprove of this time of the year.  Daylight savings has been ripped away.  I come home in the dark.  I come home in the cold.  It's just not fun to think about taking one of my sweet darlings over to Pine Dell to ride just yet. I arrived at the Sedalia fair grounds and got Velvet into her new stall home for the weekend.  I met the “Paint Sisters” and their horses. We were chatting and one of them casually mentioned that they had won the Paint World first through fifth placings in dressage, jumping, rail work, etc, with both their horses.  I as bug-eyed at that.
